Conditions of Use

When you click on "Confirm" to finalize a purchase on our site, you are agreeing to the terms described throughout the site, and/or reiterated below:

1. All items advertised on the site are second hand, unless noted explicitly as "Brand New".

2. Most of our merchandise is obtained through consignment from third parties. While we carefully examine all items prior to posting on our site, gentle wear and minor flaws can be expected. If we notice a defect and decide to post the item, we will include a "Quality Comment" within the item details. All terms of Buying on our site are detailed in the "Buy Merchandise" section.

3. All terms and conditions applicable to becoming a Consignor for New2Me are fully explained in the "Sell Merchandise" section of this site. All Consignors will be required to complete, sign and be legally bound by the "Consignment Agreement" available for download on the site.

4. As explained within our Sizing section, we use generally accepted Canadian measurements to describe our clothing. Our posted sizing may therefore at times differ from a garment's label, particularly if a garment is of vintage stock or was manufactured outside of Canada.

5. All sales are considered final. If an item is deemed to have been grossly misrepresented in terms of size, quality or condition, we must be notified in writing (contact@new2me.ca) within 24 hours of receipt. Any item accepted for return must be shipped back at the buyer's expense and a site credit of 75% of the item's net cost will be honoured.

6. New2Me is legally registered for operation from its head office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. All sales on the site will be taxed at the mandatory rate of HST applicable in Ontario. Buyers from outside the province or outside of the country will be responsible for paying the tax invoiced and, if desired, for recovering taxes paid through independent channels.

7. Shipping & handling costs applicable to each invoice are based on average weights, shipment dimensions and destinations within Canada and quoted as a flat rate for ease of administration. We reserve the right to change these rates at any time as deemed necessary.

8. Any transaction amount charged to the buyer from their financial institution or other third party service is the responsibility of the buyer.

9. When you purchase a product on New2Me, your personal information is collected to fulfil your request and register your account. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details.
